Preloader is one of the key features of Powered Cache. It improves your onload time, and that will, in turn, affect your visitors and search engine’ bots.
There are two ways to preload posts with Powered Cache.
1) Local Preloader (Free)
Local preloader uses WordPress cron and creates a given number of posts and archive pages for taxonomies.
2) Preload Bot (Premium only)
Our preload bots create the cache by simulating visitor’s behavior.
Homepage crawl: When garbage collector run on your website, our preload bot creates the cache by visiting your homepage and links found on the homepage.
Automatic crawl:When a new post is published or updated on your website, your site makes a request to our API, then our bots visits the affected pages and creates new pages.
Sitemap Integration: We visit your sitemaps and links found in the sitemap. Crawl frequency depends on your page cache interval. (Currently, we have 10k request limit per website)
You must turn on page cache to get benefits from preloading.
